ALICE researchers Dr. Alberto Longo from the Queen's University Belfast and Dr. Caterina Brandoni from Ulster University visited a desalination plant at the outskirts of Alicante, Spain, producing 65,000 cubic metres of fresh water per day.

The visit took place in the frame of their extending innovation in wastewater management research across EU countries.
